Brazilian Butt Lift

What does it involve?
A BBL is a very natural surgical procedure that involves the removal of your own fat from one part of your body and replacing it into the buttocks area. In order to undergo a BBL, you will need to be admitted into hospital. You can choose from either IV sedation or a general anaesthetic. The fat will be removed from one part of your body and around 500 – 700mls will be injected into each buttock.
Once you have undergone the BBL it is imperative that you follow the post-operative guidelines to ensure a speedy recovery with the best results. These include:
- Drinking lots of water during your first week of recovery
- Getting plenty of bed rest
- Avoiding sitting on your buttocks for at least three weeks (including driving)
- Using a pillow for your chair when you return to work (if you have a desk job)
- Lymphatic drainage which is done every six weeks. This can decrease swelling and bruising
We recommend that you take at least 1 to 2 weeks off of work and avoid sitting on your buttocks for at least two weeks after the surgery to ensure the maximum amount of fat retainment. You will also be expected to return to Zen Medispa for regular follow up appointments in the weeks following procedure so that you can receive lymphatic massage sessions which will maximise results.
Once you have healed from you BBL surgery, you will notice an improved shape and contour of your buttocks along with restored volume and less cellulite.
